frozen breaded chicken tenders
1/2 cup
Philadelphia Cream Cheese Product
2 tbsp
milk
2 tsp
minced garlic
2/3 cup
Italian-style shredded cheese blend
1 cup
Classico Sweet Basil Marinara Pasta Sauce, divided
Instructions
Step 1
Arrange chicken tenders in basket of air fryer. Air-fry at 400°F for 14 minutes, turning once.
Step 2
Meanwhile, mix cream cheese with milk and garlic. Remove tenders from air fryer and line air fryer basket with sheet of parchment. Place tenders back in basket onto parchment.
Step 3
Spoon ½ cup of the pasta sauce over chicken tenders. Top each equally with a dab of cream cheese mixture; sprinkle with Italian cheese blend. Air fry for about 3 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and cheese is melted. Serve with remaining pasta sauce for dipping.
Tip: Top with a little chopped fresh or dried parsley, chopped green onion or chopped fresh basil or oregano for a splash of colour, flavour and freshness. You can also mix the chopped herbs into the cream cheese mixture, if desired.
Tip: Warm up the remaining pasta sauce for dipping, if desired.
Tip: Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may have to cook these tenders in batches. You can also prepare them in a preheated 425°F oven, on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet, as directed, instead.
