Master of Soy Sauce Since 1908
In 1908, Tao Fa (淘化) was founded and started the production of the first bottle of Soy Sauce in Xiamen (also called Amoy), China. In 1925, the company became Tao Fa Dai Tung (淘化大同) or Tao Dai (淘大) for short, and chose Amoy as its pinyin name a few years later. 淘大 (Tao Dai) still appears in today’s logo.
