Carolina reaper spicy BBQ beef burger
Ingredients
- 1 - 100g beef burger
- 1 - Brioche bun
- 10 - g - Sliced cucumber
- 10 - g - Sliced tomato
- 10 - g - Sliced pickles
- 10 - g - Sliced red onion
- 50 - g - Bacon
- 20 - ml - Bull's Eye Carolina reaper with black garlic hot sauce
- 10 - g - Mayonnaise
- - - Salt & pepper
- - - Portion of thick cut chips
Instructions
- Step 1 - Light up the BBQ - layer the charcoal loosely so the fire can breathe. We want the full smoky BBQ taste.
- Step 2 - Once the fire is out and embers are glowing, close the lid and half-open ventilation hatch so air is limited but not removed - we want around 200°C.
- Step 3 - Cook the burger on the grill - 2 minutes on each side should do.
- Step 4 - In the meantime, heat the bacon in the baking pan until crisp.
- Step 5 - Cut the bun in half and lightly grill on the same pan in the bacon fat. You know the drill.
- Step 6 - Glaze the burger with Bull's-Eye Carolina Reaper with Black Garlic hot sauce - season with pepper and salt also.
- Step 7 - Place the burger on the bun then stack with cucumber, tomato, onion, pickles and bacon.
- Step 8 - Top off with mayonnaise and a generous glug of Bull's-Eye Carolina Reaper with Black Garlic hot sauce.
- Step 9 - Serve with chips to complement the fire.
