Honey ham and extra cheddar added to a KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese Dinner makes what one reviewer calls 'probably the best mac 'n cheese dish that I ever had.'


Ingredients

    (7-1/4 oz.) KRAFT Mac & Cheese

  • 1

    pkg

    (10 oz.) frozen peas

  • 12

    slices OSCAR MAYER Deli Fresh Honey Ham, chopped

  • 1/2

    cup

    KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese, divided


Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Prepare Dinner as directed on package, using the Light Prep directions and adding peas to boiling water for last 2 min.; drain. Return macaroni mixture to saucepan.

  2. Step 2

    Stir in ham and 1/4 cup cheddar cheese; cook on medium heat 1 to 2 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally.

  3. Step 3

    Top with remaining cheddar cheese.

    Shortcut:

    No need to thaw the peas before adding to the boiling water. Return the water to a boil after adding the peas before timing the last 2 min. of the cooking time.
