Ingredients

8 slices

whole grain white bread

4 oz

(1/2 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

2 tbsp

sugar

1/4 tsp

vanilla

2 

eggs

1 tbsp

milk

1 tbsp

butter

1/2  cup

maple-flavored or pancake syrup


Instructions

Step 1

Use rolling pin to flatten each bread slice to 4-1/4-inch square. Cut off and discard crusts.

Step 2

Mix cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until blended; spread onto bread. Roll up tightly. Whisk eggs and milk in shallow dish until blended.

Step 3

Melt butter in large skillet on medium heat. Dip roll-ups, 1 at a time, into egg mixture, turning to evenly coat all sides of each roll-up with egg mixture. Add to skillet; cook 2 min. on each side or until evenly browned on both sides.

Step 4

Serve with syrup.
