Beef burger with capsicum relish and shoestring fries

Ingredients

500 g

Beef mince

1 tbsp

Finely chopped parsley

1 tbsp

Fountain steak sauce

1/2 tbsp

Fountain mustard sauce or mustard powder

Small onion, grated

Free-range egg

1/2 cup

Breadcrumbs

Sea-salt flakes and freshly ground black pepper

Toasted brioche buns

Several mesclun salad leaves

Slices tomato

Onion, diced

Red capsicum, diced

Fountain spicy red sauce


Instructions

Step 1

To make the burgers, combine the beef mince, chopped parsley, Fountain Steak Sauce, Fountain Mustard sauce, grated onion, egg and breadcrumbs in one bowl. Season with salt flakes and pepper, and form the mixture into four patties

Step 2

To make capsicum relish, heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat and sauté onion. Add red capsicum and cook until soft. Stir in Fountain Spicy Red Sauce and simmer until thickened.

Step 3

Grill burgers on barbecue grill plate until cooked to your liking. Top each burger with a piece of sliced cheddar or Jarlsberg.

Step 4

Place burgers on brioche buns and top with lettuce, tomato and Spicy Red Sauce or capsicum relish. Serve burgers with shoestring fries.
