Smoked Peach Cobbler with Vanilla Ice Cream


Ingredients

    Wattie's® Peaches Sliced in Clear Fruit Juice 410g

  • 350

    g

    Sugar

  • 1

    tsp

    Salt

  • 150

    g

    Butter

  • 250

    g

    All purpose flour

  • 2

    tsp

    Baking powder

  • 1/2

    tsp

    Cinnamon

    Vanilla ice cream if desired, for serving


Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Drain both cans of Wattie's® Peaches Sliced in Clear Fruit Juice of its juice.

  2. Step 2

    Add your butter to your baking dish (roughly 9x13inch) and pit the dish into your smoker at 180°C until the butter has melted then remove the dish.

  3. Step 3

    In a bowl mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder and half the salt. Slowly stir in the milk until combined then add to your dish over the melted butter and spread it out evenly. Layer in your peaches and coat with cinnamon.

  4. Step 4

    Add back to the smoker at 180°C for roughly 40 minutes. Serve hot with vanilla ice cream.
