Wattie's® Black Doris Plums 850g

1/3 cup

Brown sugar

3 Tbsp 

Tbsp Corn flour

Ground cinnamon

FOR THE CRUMBLE TOPPING

1 cup

Plain flour

1/2 cup

Rolled oats

1/3 cup

Brown sugar

Cold butter, cubed

Optional: vanilla ice cream to serve


Instructions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 190°C.

Step 2

In a large bowl, combine Wattie’s Black Doris Plums, brown sugar, corn flour, and cinnamon. Spoon this mixture into a lightly greased baking dish.

Step 3

Prepare the crumble topping: In a medium bowl, combine the flour, oats, and brown sugar. Using your fingertips, rub the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs. The oats should add extra texture to the crumble.

Step 4

Evenly sprinkle the crumble mixture over the plum filling in the baking dish.

Step 5

Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the crumble topping is golden and crisp.

Step 6

Enjoy warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if desired.
