Chicken meatballs in tomato sauce

Ingredients

500 g

Chicken sausages, removed from their casings

1/2 cup

Panko breadcrumbs

1/2 

Onion, very finely chopped

1 

Egg

1/4 cup

Grated parmesan

2 tbsp

Chopped parsley

2 tsp

Olive oil

300 g

Dried spaghetti pasta

525 g

Jar Heinz seriously good tomato and sweet basil pasta sauce

1/4 cup

Grated parmesan, extra and fresh basil to serve


Instructions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 190°C fan bake. Line a baking tray with baking paper.

Step 2

Place the chicken sausage meat into a bowl with the breadcrumbs, onion, egg, parmesan and parsley. Season with pepper and mix until well combined.

Step 3

With wet hands form the mixture into 16 meatballs, leaving them roughly shaped. Place on the baking tray and drizzle over the olive oil.

Step 4

Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes until the meatballs are golden and cooked through. Turn once during cooking.

Step 5

Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti following the packet instructions. Warm the Heinz Seriously Good Tomato and Sweet Basil Pasta Sauce.

Step 6

Serve the meatballs on a bed of spaghetti topped with the sauce. Grate over extra parmesan and sprinkle with fresh basil.
