Halloween jack-o-lanterns


Ingredients

    85g packet Gregg's orange flavoured jelly crystals

  • 400

    Can Wattie's® fruit salad no added sugar, drained

    8 oranges


Instructions

  1. Step 1

    In a large bowl, dissolve jelly crystals in 1 cup of boiling water. Add 1,cup of room temperature water and stir well to combine.

  2. Step 2

    Add the fruit salad and mix to combine before placing in the fridge to set.

  3. Step 3

    Cut two eyes, a nose and a mouth out of each orange. Slice 1 cm off the top of each orange, then use a spoon to scoop out the orange flesh and pith. If necessary, cut a little bit off the bottom of the orange to ensure it sits flat.

  4. Step 4

    Once set, lightly mash the fruit jelly with a fork, then spoon into each orange, allowing the fruit jelly to spill out the mouths of the Jack O' lanterns.

  5. Step 5

    Place the tops on each orange, then serve and enjoy.
