Pasta shells

1 Tbsp 

Olive oil

Onion, diced

Wattie's® Free Flow Spinach

350 g

Cottage cheese

200 g

Mozzarella, grated (divided)

150 g

Parmesan cheese, grated

Egg

Fresh basil, chopped

Wattie's® Garlic Pasta Sauce 420g


Instructions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 180°C.

Step 2

Cook pasta shells according to pack instructions, then drain and set aside.

Step 3

Heat olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Sauté onions until translucent, then add Wattie's Free Flow Spinach and cook, discarding any excess liquid.

Step 4

In a bowl, combine the spinach mixture, cottage cheese, 1½ cups mozzarella, parmesan, egg, basil, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.

Step 5

Pour half of the Wattie's Garlic Pasta Sauce into the base of a baking dish. Stuff each pasta shell with the spinach and cottage mixture, then arrange them in the dish. Pour the remaining sauce over the shells and sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella.

Step 6

Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.

Step 7

Garnish with extra parmesan and fresh basil. Season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
