Ingredients

Brown onion, peeled & chopped
2 cloves
Garlic, peeled & crushed

Beef mince
250 g
Wattie's® mixed veges
2 tbsp
Tomato paste
500 ml
Beef stock
1-2 tbsp
Cornflour

Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 200°C / 180°C fan-forced.
Step 2
Heat 2 teaspoons of oil in a large frying pan. Cook the onion for 5 minutes, until lightly golden. Add the garlic and cook 1-2 minutes, until fragrant. Transfer to a bowl.
Step 3
Add more oil to the pan, cooking the beef mince in batches until well browned. Return the onion to the pan with the tomato paste and beef stock. Bring to the boil.
Step 4
In a small bowl mix the cornflour with 2 tbsp of water. Add to the beef mixture and stir until thickened slightly. Remove from the heat.
Step 5
Place the WATTIES Hash Bites in an even layer on top of the beef filling. Carefully transfer to the oven and bake 20 minutes, until the hash bites are crispy and golden on top. Serve.
