Ingredients

Maple syrup

2 tbsp

Reduced salt soy sauce

1 tbsp

Oil

1 1/2 tsp

Gregg's ground smoked paprika

1 tsp

Gregg's ground cumin

Zest and juice from ½ lemon

Chicken drumsticks


Instructions

Step 1

Mix together maple syrup, soy sauce, oil, Gregg's Ground Smoked Paprika and Ground Cumin, lemon zest and juice.

Step 2

Lay chicken drumsticks in a baking dish in a single layer. Pour over marinade and turn chicken to coat. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Step 3

Preheat oven to 180°C (fan assisted). Roast drumsticks for 30-35 minutes or until chicken is cooked. Turn chicken once or twice during cooking.

Step 4

Serve with rice, drizzling any remaining sauce over the chicken and rice. Accompany with salad or vegetables on the side.
