For basting bacon + extra for serving of Bull's Eye original BBQ sauce

Instructions

  1. Step 1

Cook bacon rashers on a BBQ or in a fry pan and baste with Bull's-Eye Original BBQ sauce as they sizzle. Set aside for when needed.

  2. Step 2

Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F). Lightly grease and line a 20x30cm baking tin.

  3. Step 3

In a saucepan, melt butter and sugar. Cool for 5 minutes. In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, cocoa, eggs, chocolate bits, bacon and Bull's-Eye Original BBQ sauce. Then add the sugar/butter mixture.

  4. Step 4

Add the mixture into the prepared baking tin and smooth out the top. Bake for about 30 minutes or until an inserted skewer comes out nearly clean.

  5. Step 5

Remove the bacon brownies from the oven and allow to cool. Cut into squares and serve with ½ tsp of Bull's-Eye Original BBQ sauce on each and one square of bacon.
