Try this simple slow-simmering beef chili recipe. The salsa is the quick fix—it adds a nice little kick plus saves on prep.


Ingredients

    (675 g) extra-lean ground beef

  • 2

    cans

    (19 fl oz/540 mL each) mixed beans, rinsed

  • 2

    cups

    salsa

  • 1

    can

    (14 fl oz/398 mL) no-salt-added tomato sauce

  • 1

    onion, chopped

  • 1

    cup

    frozen corn

  • 2

    tbsp

    chili powder

  • 1

    cup

    Kraft Shredded Marble Cheddar Cheese


Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Brown meat in skillet; drain. Add to slow cooker along with all remaining ingredients except cheese; stir. Cover with lid.

  2. Step 2

    Cook on LOW 5 to 6 hours (or on HIGH 3 to 4 hours).

  3. Step 3

    Stir just before serving. Ladle into bowls; top with cheese.
