Serve these COOL WHIP Walnut Blondies with a pot of hot coffee for a delectable homemade treat!


Ingredients

    pkg

    (2-layer size) yellow cake mix

  • 3

    cups

    thawed Cool Whip Whipped Topping

  • 1

    egg

  • 4

    oz

    (1/2 of 225-g pkg.) Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate, chopped

  • 1

    cup

    chopped walnuts


Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Heat oven to 350°F.

  2. Step 2

    Line 13x9-inch pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides; spray with cooking spray.

  3. Step 3

    Beat dry cake mix, Cool Whip and egg in large bowl with mixer until blended. (Batter will be stiff.) Stir in chocolate and nuts.

  4. Step 4

    Spread onto bottom of prepared pan.

  5. Step 5

    Bake 23 to 25 min. or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean. Cool completely. Use foil handles to remove dessert from pan before cutting into bars.
