Easy Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients

cups flour

2 tsp

Magic Baking Powder

1 tsp

baking soda

1 tbsp

pumpkin pie spice

4 

eggs

1-1/4 

cups Heinz [Seriously] Good Mayonnaise

2 

cups granulated sugar

2  

large carrots, shredded (about 2 cups)

1 can

(14 fl oz/398 mL) crushed pineapple in juice, well drained


Instructions

Step 1

Heat oven to 350°F.

Step 2

Combine dry ingredients. Whisk eggs and mayonnaise in large bowl until blended. Gradually add sugar, mixing well after each addition. Add dry ingredients, carrots, and pineapple; mix well.

Step 3

Pour into greased and floured 3-L fluted tube pan or 10-inch tube pan.

Step 4

Bake 50 min. to 1 hour or until toothpick inserted near centre comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 min. Loosen cake from sides of pan with knife. Invert cake onto wire rack; gently remove pan. Cool cake completely.

Step 5

Spread frosting onto cake.
